A Light-Emitting Diode is a semi-conductor based form of
Electroluminescence. It is built by taking a 'silicon wafer' (a thin slice of
pure silicon) and adding special materials to parts of the silicon using a
process called "doping". This changes the electrical properties of the
silicon and current can flow in one direction only. Other materials are
then added to this wafer of silicon to make it produce light when a
current is passed. By addition of differnt materials, LED's can be made
to produce light of colours in the visibile light spectrum and also light in
the ultraviolet and infrared spectrum.

Our LED products can be split into two areas - Building lighting applications and Advertising signboards

Building Lighting

LED lighting in buildings can produce huge savings in electricity costs and also reduce the amount of heat released from the light bulbs. We can provide both LED light bulbs and tube lights. The tube lights can be retrofitted to existing strip lighting sockets

LED advertising media

LED bulbs can be incorporated into signboards to provide bright, uniform light over the signboard. Their low power consumption means that they can be used under solar power. We have a number options for LED signboards, some of which are displayed below.
